Nakon instalacije u rupu za tapkanje, ključevi za zaključavanje na svaki ubačeni taster se pokreću kroz niti nadređenog materijala, zaključavanje umetanja čvrsto i trajno na mestu. Dostupno u veličinama inč i metričkih niti, konfiguracija čvrstog žbuna od nerđajućeg čelika tastera garantuje kvalitet unutrašnje niti pre instalacije. Za instalaciju nisu potrebni posebni alati i za pripremu rupa se koriste standardne slavine i bušilice. Unapred sastavljeni ključevi za samo-broširanje postavljaju umetanje na dubinu i obezbeđuju pozitivan otpor protiv rotacije.
