Nakon ugradnje u otvor s navojem, Tipke za zaključavanje na svakom umetku za ključeve guraju se prema dolje kroz navoje matičnog materijala, čvrsto i trajno zaključavanje umetka na mjestu. Dostupno u inčnim i metričkim veličinama navoja, čvrsta konfiguracija čahura od nehrđajućeg čelika umetaka za ključeve jamči kvalitetu unutarnjeg navoja prije ugradnje. Za ugradnju nisu potrebni posebni alati, a za pripremu rupa koriste se standardne slavine i bušilice. Unaprijed sastavljeni samoprovlačni ključevi postavljaju umetak na dubinu i osiguravaju pozitivan otpor protiv rotacije.
